Warwick, RI – March 15, 2008 — RBC Industries is pleased to announce the introduction of a new series of UV curable doming resins formulated for imparting a high gloss, water clear dome or lens over a variety of substrates. The application of this high build doming resin enhances the appearance of many items including: emblems, nameplates, photos, lapel pins, jewelry, and advertising specialty items such as magnets and key fobs.
The new line of doming resins are available in both rigid and flexible formulations; accommodating a wide range of surfaces including: heavy/light gauge metals, vinyl, mylar, ceramic, and many plastics.
The new UV curable epoxy products provide the beauty, clarity and protection of traditional clear epoxy doming resins but are single component and have unlimited working time. Specially designed to cure quickly and efficiently under low intensity blacklight, there is no need for investment in a high intensity UV light system. RBC’s UV doming resins are compounded for superior abrasion and impact resistance and are recommended for indoor applications.
